School Mission Statement

Our vision for the primary school children in our school is to provide each child with a safe, secure and happy place in which they can nurture the spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical dimensions of his/her life. We, the staff and the Board of Management, will strive to achieve these three general aims.

  1. To enable the child to live a full life as a child and to realise his/her potential as a unique individual.
  2. To enable the child to develop as a social being through living and co-operating with others and so contribute  to the good of society.
  3. To prepare the child for further education and life-long education.

While the ethos of the school is Roman Catholic, we will strive to be an inclusive school which does not discriminate against anyone, as outlined in the Equal Status Act 2000, on the basis of:

Gender, marital status, family status, sexual discrimination, religion, age, disability, race or members of the travelling community.
